Cette recherche vise à évaluer chez des individus ayant un diagnostic primaire de trouble panique avec agoraphobie, et ne répondant pas au diagnostic secondaire de phobie sociale,  la présence ou non de différents niveaux d'anxiété sociale. L'étude évalue également l'impact de cette comorbidité symptomatique sur l'efficacité de deux modalités de traitement  cognitivo-comportemental, soit un traitement autodirigé et un traitement dirigé par le thérapeute. Elle tente de déterminer si l'application d'un programme de traitement cognitivocomportemental du trouble panique avec agoraphobie influence positivement ou  négativement les niveaux d'anxiété sociale présents. D'autre part, elle évalue si les niveaux d'anxiété sociale influencent l'efficacité du traitement cognitivo-comportemental  quant à la symptomatologie agoraphobique. L'échantillon comporte 51 personnes (26  dans un traitement dirigé et 25 dans un traitement autodirigé) ayant un trouble panique  avec agoraphobie selon les critères du DSM-IV. On constate une répartition relativement  équivalente d'individus avec un trouble panique avec agoraphobie présentant de l'anxiété  sociale à un niveau faible, modéré ou élevé, pour les deux groupes de traitement. En outre,  on note une amélioration significative non seulement des symptômes du trouble panique  avec agoraphobie, mais également des symptômes d'anxiété sociale. Il y a moins de participants avec des niveaux d'anxiété sociale élevée et modérée après le traitement. Les deux modalités de traitement sont équivalentes quant à leur efficacité. Finalement, les résultats indiquent très partiellement que les niveaux élevés et modérés d'anxiété sociale exercent  possiblement une influence négative sur l'efficacité de traitement du trouble panique avec  agoraphobie tel que mesuré par certaines composantes du trouble. Les conséquences relatives à cette comorbidité symptomatique ainsi que les explications possibles des différents impacts de cette comorbidité sur l'efficacité du traitement sont discutées.This research aims at evaluating in individuals suffering from panic-agoraphobia disorder without social phobia the presence or not of various levels of social anxiety. The study also evaluates the impact of this symptomatic comorbidity on the efficiency of two modes of cognitive behaviorial treatment, namely an auto-directed treatment and a treatment directed by the therapist. The study attempts to determine if the application of a cognitive behavioral treatment program positively or negatively influences the various levels of anxiety. On the other hand, the study evaluates if levels of social anxiety influences the efficiency of the cognitive behavioral treatment in regards to agoraphobic symptomatology. The sample includes 51 people (26 in a therapist-directed treatment and 25 in a auto-directed treatment) suffering from DSM-IV panic disorder with agoraphobia. The authors observed a relatively equivalent number of individuals with a panic-agoraphobia disorder presenting social anxiety at a weak, moderate and high level for the two groups in treatment. Moreover, the authors noted a significant improvement not only of the symptoms of agoraphobia-panic disorder, but also of social anxiety symptoms. There are less participants presenting high or moderate levels of social anxiety after treatment. The two modes of treatment are equivalent in regards to their efficiency. Finally, results only partially indicate that high and moderate levels of social anxiety possibly have a negative influence on the efficiency of treatment as measured by certain components of the disorder. Consequences related to this symptomatic comorbidity as well as possible explanations of various impacts of the efficiency of the treatment are discussed.Esta investigaciôn tiene como objetivo evaluar la presencia o no, de diferentes nivelés de ansiedad social en los individuos con un diagnôstico primario del desorden del pânico con agorafobia y que no responden al diagnôstico secundario de fobia social. Igualmente, el estudio évalua el impacto de esta comorbidez sintomâtica sobre la eficacia de dos modalidades de tratamiento cognoscitivo - comportamental; sea un tratamiento auto - dirigido y un tratamiento dirigido por el terapeuta. La investigaciôn trata de determinar si la aplicaciôn de un programa de tratamiento cognoscitivo - comportamental del desorden del pânico con agorafobia, influencia los nivelés de ansiedad présente, positiva o negativamente. Por otra parte, évalua si los nivelés de ansiedad social influencian la eficacia del tratamiento cognoscitivo - comportamental en cuanto a la sintomatologîa agorafôbica. El muestreo incluye 51 personas que tienen el desorden del pânico con agorafobia, segiîn los criterios del DSMIV (26 en un tratamiento dirigido y 25 en un tratamiento auto - dirigido). Se constata una repartition relativamente équivalente de individuos con un desorden del pânico con agorafobia presentando ansiedad social a un nivel bajo, moderado o alto, en los dos grupos de tratamiento. Notamos no solamente una mejorîa significativa de los sûitomas del desorden del pânico con agorafobia, pero igualmente, de los smtomas de ansiedad social. Hay menos participantes con nivelés de ansiedad social elevados y moderados, después del tratamiento. Las dos modalidades de tratamiento son équivalentes en cuanto a su eficacia. Finalmente, los resultados indican de manera partial que los nivelés elevados y moderados de ansiedad social posiblemente ejercen una influencia negativa en la eficacia del tratamiento del desorden del pânico con agorafobia, tal que medido por ciertos componentes del desorden. Son discutidas las consecuencias relativas a esta Comorbidez sintomâtica, asi que las explicaciones posibles de los diferentes impactos de esta Comorbidez en la eficacia del tratamiento
