Les descriptions traditionnelles des affections psychiatriques se modifient et se diversifient de plus en plus. On ne peut plus les réduire à la psychose. De plus, la demande du patient a pris un caractère plus aigu, plus somatisé. L'agir pathologique y est fréquent et interpelle la famille et le contexte de vie du patient. Celui-ci exige une réponse immédiate à sa demande d'aide. L'intervention de crise apparaît enfin comme une approche nouvelle qui permet de tenir compte et de bénéficier des changements de la pratique psychiatrique et de la demande de soins du patient. L'auteur développe ici l'exemple d'une équipe de crise intégrée au service des urgences d'un hôpital général à Bruxelles.Traditional nosographic models are changing in psychiatry and becoming more polymorphic they can no longer be reduced to psychosis. The patient's demand has become paroxystic, more somatized. Pathological "acting" is frequent and calls upon the family and the life context of the patient, the latter demanding an immediate answer to his request for help. Crisis intervention appears as a new approach that allows both taking into account and benefiting from these changes in the clinic and the patient's demand. The example of a crisis team within the emergency service of a general hospital in Brussels is given in this paper
