La conception philosophique grecque de l’origine s’amorce avec la recherche présocratique des causes premières et se développe dans la métaphysique de Platon. La doctrine platonicienne intègre les éléments narratifs de la physique et des cosmogonies antérieures, mais elle entreprend de les transformer par la position d’une origine du monde qui soit hors du temps. Cette étude examine plusieurs aspects de cette conception, en particulier dans le texte du Timée et dans le néoplatonisme postérieur.The greek philosophical conception of the origin begins with the presocratic research of ultimate causes and it gains it’s full expression in the metaphysics of Plato. The platonic doctrine builds in the narrative elements of ancient physics and cosmogonies, but it works towards a transformation, by the theory of an extra-temporal origin of the world. This essay studies several aspects of this doctrine, mainly the theory exposed in the Timaeus and in posterior neoplatonism
