Cette étude transversale par questionnaire traite de l'influence des variables cliniques et socio-démographiques dans les réadmissions à l'hôpital Louis-H. Lafontaine. Si les 1024 patients échantillonnés ressemblent sur certains côtés au prototype complexe identifié par des études menées dans d'autres pays, notre clientèle du syndrome de la porte tournante a son propre visage. L'étude conclut sur des recommandations en vue d'une gestion efficace de cette clientèle.This cross-sectional study involving questionnaires examines the influence of clinical and socio-demographic variables on read-missions to Louis-H. Lafontaine Hospital. Results show a close resemblance between the profile of the 1024 patients surveyed and that of the complex prototype identified by studies carried out in other countries. However, our clientele's characteristics offer a unique profile of open-door syndrome. The study's conclusion presents several recommendations to help provide more efficient services to the latter clientele
