Le présent article expose d'abord un modèle général de recherche concernant l'association entre des caractéristiques de l'organisation du travail et des atteintes à la santé et à l'intégrité phsysique et mentale des travailleurs et travailleuses. Par la suite, ce modèle est utilisé dans le domaine de la santé mentale pour examiner les conséquences d'une organisation du travail caractérisée par des tâches répétitives exécutées sous contrainte de temps. Une problématique de cette question est esquissée, suivie des résultats et des limites méthodologiques des recherches effectuées dans le domaine. Enfin, un cadre d'analyse intégrant les connaissances acquises et les avenues de recheche à privilégier dans l'avenir est présenté.This present article first of all examines a general model of research concerned with the relationship between characteristics of a work organization and breaches in the workers' health and their mental and physical welfare. Thereafter this model is used in areas of mental health to study the consequences of a work organization where repetitive tasks are achieved under time restriction. The question is drawn out, followed by the results and methodological limitations of the researches done in this area. Then, the author describes a frame of analysis which integrates the acquired knowledge and the areas of research to be developed
