Pour la première fois une génération d'individus (les jeunes adultes de 18-35 ans) ayant des problèmes psychiatriques sérieux ne peut recourir à l'asile pour se protéger des stress de la vie quotidienne. Elle doit, à l'aide de l'équipe soignante, des structures intermédiaires et de la médication, compter sur ses apprentissages pour affronter les vicissitudes de la vie, conformément à la politique de désinstitutionnalisation des années 60. Mais, comme ces personnes sont très vulnérables aux stress (elles souffrent de psychose et de troubles de personnalité), cela ne se fait pas sans heurts. Et, comme elles constituent environ 10 % de la population qui consulte en psychiatrie tout en accaparant 40 % du temps des thérapeutes, elles représentent un sérieux défi pour les équipes soignantes. Vu l'acuité de ce problème, nous avons pensé qu'il serait intéressant, à l'aide d'une revue de littérature de connaître davantage ces jeunes. Pour ce faire, nous essaierons de répondre dans cet article aux questions suivantes : qui sont ces jeunes ? Quel est leur avenir ? Quelle est la dynamique sous-jacente à leur comportement? Quels programmes de soins leur offre-t-on?For the first time, a generation of people (young adults of 18-35) with serious psychiatric problems can no longer use asylums as a refuge from the stress of daily life. These people have to rely on their own experience with the help of a caring team, intermediary structures and medication to face the vicissitudes of life. But because they are very vulnerable to stress and suffer from psychosis or personality disorders, this is not easily done. They represent 10 % of all psychiatric patients and monopolize 40 % of the therapist's time and therefore become a serious challenge to the caring team. Considering the acuteness of the problem, we thought it would be interesting to know these young people better. Therefore, with the help of a review of literature, we will try to answer these questions : who are these people ? What is their future? What is the underlying dynamics of their behavior? What programs do we offer for their care
