Ces dernières années, la critique postmoderne s'est attaqué à tous les domaines des sciences sociales et humaines. Les théories de la planification ne font pas exception. Or cette critique n'est pas la seule à occuper l'avant-scène des débats au sein de ce champ de recherche. Le courant communicationnel a aussi contribué à renouveler les perspectives de la planification moderne. Mais jusqu'à quel point le courant communicationnel est-il en mesure de répondre aux critiques formulées par les tenants du postmodernisme à l'endroit des théories de la planification? C'est afin de répondre à cette question que nous examinons ici d'une manière comparative le point de vue postmoderne et le point de vue communicationnel.Over the last years, the postmodern critique was persuasive within all sectors of social sciences and humanities. Planning theories are no exception. However, the postmodern critique is not alone. The communicative perspective also contributed to reviewing the debate within modern planning. To what extent is the communicative perspective able to answer the critiques formulated by postmodernists within planning theories?
