Depuis que Raoul Blanchard a écrit ses études régionales sur le Québec, les concepts de région, de régionalisation et de régionalisme sont devenus d'usage courant. Pendant plus de 25 ans, ils ont été étroitement associés aux questions d'aménagement, de développement et de lutte aux disparités. Après avoir étudié l'usage que Blanchard a fait de la régionalisation et des régionymes, tout particulièrement dans le Canada français, nous examinons les diverses utilisations faites de ces concepts et l'évolution des systèmes de régionalisation.Ever since Raoul Blanchard has written his « regional studies » about Québec, the concepts of region, regionalisation and regionalism became common use. During more than 25 years, they have been closely associated with planning, development questions and with the fight against regional disparities. In this paper, we examine the different uses that have been made of these concepts and the evolution of the regionalisation Systems; this come after the analysis of Blanchard has made of regionalisation and regionomy particularily in his work entitled Canada français
