Fe, Mn, and Cu porphyrin complexes have been immobilized on mesoporous MCM-41 nanocavities. The formation and integrity of the prepared complexes have been studied using FT-IR, UV-Vis, SEM and atomic absorption spectroscopy. Also a comparative study of catalytic activity of the heterogeneous catalysts was carried out for oxidation of sulfides with urea hydrogen peroxide. It was found that the best results were obtained using Mn-porphyrin supported on MCM41 as an efficient catalyst.
