Sin embargo, varios estudios han demostrado sus muchas carencias, como las construcciones preformateadas del discurso, que abusan de las presentaciones con listas enumeradas, el formato limitado y el tamano de las diapositivas, que admiten poco contenido, y el riesgo constante de saturar a los espectadores con demasiado texto o datos (Alley 2003, 2004, Robertshaw 2004, Gottlieb 1985, Keller 2003, Tufte 2003). Teniendo en cuenta la forma en que los elementos linguisticos y visuales han evolucionado en los ultimos 20 anos, asi como el diseno y el texto que las organizaciones encuentran en las presentaciones en Power Point, el presente articulo analiza los efectos negativos que la estructura de las diapositivas por defecto de Microsoft PPT, formada por temas-subtemas y enumeraciones, tiene sobre la audiencia. Este articulo demostrara los efectos positivos del aprendizaje que la estructura de la aseveracion de evidencia tiene sobre los lectores. Se estudian los distintos grados de retencion de tres grupos de estudiantes de grado tras haberlos expuesto a presentaciones en PPT con titulares, titulares e imagenes y la estructura de la aseveracion de evidencia. EnglishSince the late 1990s, Microsoft PowerPoint has become the expected presentation genre. However, several studies have demonstrated its many faults, such as the pre-formatted construction of discourse leading to the abuse of bullet point presentations, the limited format and size of slides that support minimum content and the ever-present risk of overwhelming viewers with too much text or data (Alley 2003, 2004, Robertshaw 2004, Gottlieb 1985, Keller 2003, Tufte 2003). Taking into consideration how the linguistic and visual elements, as well as the design and text organizations found in PowerPoint presentations have evolved in the last 20 years, the present paper analyses the negative effects that the default slide structure provided by Microsoft PPT, consisting of topic-subtopics and bullet points, has on the audience. The paper will then demonstrate the positive learning effects that the assertion evidence structure has on readers. The different retaining degree of three groups of undergraduate students are tested, after having exposed them to PPTs applying phrase headlines, phrase headlines and images or the assertion evidence structure. catalaDes de finals dels anys 90, Microsoft PowerPoint es el genere que normalment s’utilitza a les presentacions. No obstant aixo, diversos estudis han demostrat les seves moltes carencies, com les construccions preformatades del discurs, que abusen de les presentacions amb llistes enumerades, el format limitat i la mida de les diapositives, que admeten poc de contingut, i el risc constant de saturar els espectadors amb massa text o dades (Alley 2003, 2004, Robertshaw 2004, Gottlieb 1985, Keller 2003, Tufte 2003). Tenint en compte la forma en que els elements linguistics i visuals han evolucionat en els darrers 20 anys, aixi com el disseny i el text que les organitzacions troben a les presentacions en Power Point, el present article analitza els efectes negatius que te sobre l’audiencia l’estructura de les diapositives per defecte de Microsoft PPT, formada per temes-subtemes i enumeracions. Aquest article demostrara els efectes positius de l’aprenentatge que l’estructura de l’asseveracio d’evidencia te sobre els lectors. S’estudien els diferents graus de retencio de tres grups d’estudiants de grau despres d’haver-los exposat a presentacions en PPT amb titulars, titulars i imatges i estructura de l’asseveracio d’evidencia.
