Co mb inations of co mplex mate ria l p ropert ies of per meabili ty, per mittivit y, and co nd uctivity were sought which gave la rge, broadband absorpt ion coe ffi cient s. Severa l promisin g com positions have resul ted, and arc presen ted . T he effects of var ying t he individu al para meters are also discussed .
