本研究は, ダイオキシン類を高精度かつ迅速に分析測定できる手法の開発を目的とし, JIS法による多層シリカゲルカラム精製法に注目し, 硝酸銀シリカゲルと硫酸シリカゲル及びこれらの積層シリカゲルカラムについて加熱による精製効果を検討した結果, 以下のことが明らかとなった。(1) 60℃加熱状態での硝酸銀シリカゲル処理は, 室温処理に比べてPAHsを脱着しやすいが, 硫黄化合物類の除去能が向上した。(2) 60℃加熱状態での硫酸シリカゲル処理は, 室温処理に比べて化学反応性の向上によりPAHs及び単環芳香族炭化水素類の除去能が向上した。(3) 60℃加熱状態下での多層シリカゲルカラム (硝酸銀シリカゲル/硫酸シリカゲル) 精製法は, 室温状態下のそれに比べて夾雑物の除去に優れていた。多層シリカゲルカラムの加熱処理法は, 底質や生物のような硫黄化合物類に富む試料の精製に有効であり, 分析時間の短縮と溶媒量の削減が可能である。また, 夾雑物質によるGC-MSのキャピラリーカラムやイオン化室の負荷の低減となる。
