賀茂川河口干潟から採土した土壌に各種有機物を負荷し, 好気的環境下で48時間振盪を行った後, フォスファターゼ活性の変化を測定した。その結果, アルブミン, カゼイン, オリーブ油, オレイン酸をそれぞれ, 0.1%負荷することによって有意な活性化が認められた。しかしながらデンプン, 及びグルコース負荷の場合は活性変化を生じなかった。したがってタンパク質, 脂質が負荷されることにより, 干潟土壌フォスファターゼの活性が増加することが示唆された。一方, 同条件下でATPバイオマスはほとんど変化しなかった。また無機リン酸, 及び銅イオン, アルミニウムイオンの負荷は有意に干潟土壌フォスファターゼ活性を阻害することが明らかになった。
