La narrativa se sirve de estrategias para cuestionar la realidad y por ende la regularidad de los fenomenos. Uno de los recursos que posee la literatura es el sinsentido, el cual puede expresarse de cuatro formas de acuerdo con las paradojas expuestas  por Deleuze en Logica del sentido. En este trabajo se plantea una tipologia del absurdo como una de las formas de expresar el sinsentido en la literatura y se analiza la presencia del absurdo en los cuentos: Hijo del alma y La noche; la obra Esperando a Godot y la novela El caballero inexistente. Narrative has strategies which its main objective is question the reality and the regularity of phenomenon, one of them is the nonsense and according the paradox of Deleuze in Logic of sense, there are four types or expressions of nonsense. In this work I propose a typology of absurd as a way to express the nonsense and then analyze the presence of absurd in the stories: Hijo del alma and Night: a nightmare, the play Waiting for Godot and the novel The nonexistent knight.
