En el presente trabajo analizamos el contenido y la forma de las tres ʿaqīda -s (formulaciones de los principios de la creencia islamica) mas difundidas entre los musulmanes castellanos y aragoneses de epoca mudejar y morisca. Este analisis nos permite, entre otras cosas, mostrar la influencia de dos corrientes teologico-juridicas islamicas diferentes entre los musulmanes espanoles. Corrientes que se diferencian, especialmente, en el papel que otorgan a la razon para alcanzar una fe asentada sobre fundamentos solidos. Abstract In this paper we analyse the content and form of the three ʿaḳīda-s (formulations of the principles of Islamic belief) most widespread among the Castilian and Aragonese Muslims of the Mudejar and Moorish periods. This analysis allows us, among other things, to show the influence of two different Islamic theological-legal currents among Spanish Muslims. These currents differ, especially, in the role they give to reason in order to acquire a faith based on solid principles.
