En este trabajo se analizan los conflictos surgidos en torno a las tierras comunales en el término de Plasencia a finales del Medievo. Para entonces, los avances realizados en la colonización del espacio y la extensión de las dehesas de propiedad particular habían incidido en la reducción de los baldíos, una situación que contrastaba con el crecimiento de la población, el cual parece que fue más apreciable durante la segunda mitad del siglo XV. Ambos factores influyeron en la existencia de una mayor presión sobre la tierra al finalizar la Edad Media, la cual se ejerció mediante los cauces legales y también se produjeron actos de violencia, unos actos que fueron cometidos sobre todo por los hombres dependientes de la jurisdicción señorial. This paper analyses the conflicts concerning communal lands belonging to Plasencia at the end of the Middle Ages. At that time, advances in the colonization of the territory and the increase of privately owned pasturelands had contributed to a decrease in communal lands. Furthermore, the population seems to have grown more significantly during the second half of the fifteenth century. Both factors created greater pressure on the land at the end of the Middle Ages. This was carried out through legal means but also by acts of violence committed primarily by men under the jurisdiction of the lordship.</p
