El trabajo ilustra el empleo de la operacionalizacion conceptual reutilizando datos empiricos procedentes de la Encuesta de Cultura Forestal de Galicia (ECF, 1991). La generacion teorica de conceptos y tipologias da paso a la eleccion de indicadores, y construccion de indices, procesos que se rematan con un analisis multivariable de las tipologias elaboradas. Las operaciones realizadas permiten reconstruir la estructura de valores y actitudes de las que se servian los gallegos a comienzos de los noventa, para representar el monte, los bosques y el sector forestal. Ademas, aporta nuevos datos para testar las predicciones realizadas por las teorias del cambio de valores y habilidades sociales, en la relacion con el entorno ambiental. The paper illustrates the use of conceptual operationalization reusing empirical data from the Survey of Forest Culture of Galicia ( ECF , 1991) . The generation of theoretical concepts and types leads to the choice of indicators and index construction , processes that are topped with a multivariate analysis of the typologies developed . Transactions can reconstruct the structure of values ​​and attitudes that the Gallegos served in the early nineties, to represent Mount , forests and forestry . It also provides new data to test the predictions made by the theories of changing values ​​and social skills , in relation to the environment.

Tipologías de representación social del monte y el sector forestal gallego mediante la construcción de índices
