In organizational research and practice, prolific communication is significantly linked with quality\udleadership traits. Leadership quality helps in mitigating the failure of an organization to survive the\udincreasing business challenges that may result in waste of resources, talents and potentials needed for\udachieving optimal organizational productivity. However, an examination of academic literatures reveal\udthat corporate leaders are often faced with the challenge of how to move smoothly between different\udcommunication styles to communicate clearly articulating ideas and knowledge to employee’s\udwhenever the occasion demands which hinders organizational productivity. Against this background,\udthis study explores the relationship between leadership communication style, personality trait and\udorganizational productivity. The study utilized cross-sectional survey method. Participants were 112\udacademic staff of University of Lagos, Nigeria who was selected through multi-stage sampling\udtechniques. Data were collected through structured questionnaire and personal observation. Results\udshow that there exists a connection between leadership communication style and personality trait. Also,\udthe finding revealed that leadership communication style determines organization productivity. More so,\udthe finding established that personality traits and communication styles have combine effect on\udorganizational productivity. Conclusively, the findings were discussed with reference to relevant\udempirical literatures with recommendations for management of organizations both for practice and\udfuture research highlighted
