From ancient times and on, the\udamnesty and the pardon represent an act of grace,\udterm of highest grace that provides the necessary\udsafety valve of justice. It is expected from the\udamnesty and pardon to ensure that justice will\udbecame more humane despite the high inflexibility\udof the laws. It is expected to be taken into account\udthe hesitation left after few verdicts, although all of\udthe effective verdicts, in principle, are connected\udwith the invincible legal assumption that they have\udbeen legitimate.\udThe purpose of this research is through\udsome examples in the Macedonian law to achieve\udmore detailed explanations i.e. analysis of the terms\udamnesty and pardon. At the beginning of this study\udare shown the definitions of amnesty and pardon, the\udreview of the laws related to the amnesty and pardon\udin the Macedonian criminal law, and at the end with\udreference thereto to be presented the legal\udframework within our country, i.e. in the\udMacedonian criminal law and the ways which these\udterms can be realized in.\udThis study is an attempt to confirm that\udMacedonia will keep on fulfilling the international\udprinciples on human rights, and its obligations\udaccording to the international agreements, with the\udaim to protect and to promote the situation of its\udcitizens. \u
