Este estudo objetivou identificar importantes aspectos socioeconomicos e entender a dinâmica da agricultura familiar no contexto nacional, serviram como base de dados de pesquisa os artigos disponibilizados pela CAPES durante o periodo de 2011 a 2015. Verificou-se a grande dependencia da Agricultura Familiar de acoes governamentais, instituidas para a resolucao de problemas existentes ou manutencao em determinadas areas, possibilitando o controle para que fiquem dentro de niveis aceitaveis, essas acoes sao efetivadas atraves das politicas publicas, identificando barreiras que dificultam a transformacao do agricultor familiar em empreendedor rural no contexto brasileiro. O estudo aponta que os estabelecimentos familiares estao vinculados a regioes diversas, com caracteristicas distintas, porem todos fornecem informacoes que vinculam o agricultor familiar a um negocio, necessitando de desempenho economico e depende do mercado, foram utilizadas no estudo as regioes nordeste, sudeste, centro oeste e sul; conclui-se a necessidade da manutencao das politicas publicas para o desenvolvimento dos agricultores familiares e sua permanencia no campo, destacando-se nos periodicos o PRONAF, o PAA e o PNAE. Abstract This study aimed to identify important socioeconomic and understand the dynamics of family farming in the national context, served as a research database items available from CAPES during the period from 2011 to 2015. It was the heavy reliance of Family Farming of government actions, instituted to resolve problems or maintenance in certain areas, making it possible to control so that they are within acceptable levels, these actions are accomplished through public policies, identifying barriers to transformation of the family farmer in rural entrepreneur in the Brazilian context. The study shows that family farms are linked to different regions, with different characteristics, however all provide information linking the family farmer to a business in need of economic performance and depends on the market, it was used to study the northeast, southeast, center west and south; It concludes the need for these policies to the development of family farmers and their stay in the field, especially in the periodic PRONAF , the PAA and PNAE .
