The use of satellite images in the generation of surface temperature values from remote sensors has been recurrently used in urban planning studies, agricultural planning, hydraulic engineering and environmental projects. This work aims to analyze the temperature values of apparent surface of the Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS)/ Landsat 8, band 10, for the months of June and September 2014, in accordance with its spatialization in the urban perimeter of Uberlândia MG. In this research it will be used two Landsat 8 satellite images, both band 10 (thermal infrared) of spectral 10,60 11,19 μm)being the first of 14 June 2014 and the second of 18 September 2014. For the treatment of the satellite images and later outcome of LSTs, it was used the following methods: radiometric correction in relation to the values obtained at the top of atmosphere (ToA), conversion of spectral irradiance measurements for brightness temperature in degrees Kelvin (K) and the conversion to temperature in degrees Celsius (°C).From the results found, it was verified that for the image of 14 June 2014 among the classes of temperature generated, the values of minimum temperature to maximum temperature ranged from 13.5 °C to 29.6 °C, while for the image of 18 September 2014 the variation was 19.5 °C to 39.5 °C.The temperature of the surface of the materials that composes the urban perimeter of Uberlândia MG had the same thermal behaviour in response to the thermal infrared of the satellite, when the coldest and hottest periods of the year were compared.
