A hipsometria e a exposicao do relevo sao fatores relevantes no estudo do clima das cidades, pois contribuem para a variacao dos elementos climaticos temperatura e umidade. Portanto, o objetivo deste trabalho consistiu em mapear, por meio de geotecnologias, as caracteristicas da hipsometria e da exposicao das vertentes do relevo da area urbana de Ipora-GO e analisar as caracteristicas de seis pontos definidos para coleta de dados climaticos. Os procedimentos metodologicos consistiram no uso dos softwares de geoprocessamento Spring 5.1.2 e do ArcGis 10.1. Para gerar os mapas, foram utilizadas imagens de radar SRTM com resolucao de 90m. Os resultados demonstraram uma diferenca altimetrica de 55 m entre o ponto mais elevado (P4) e o ponto mais baixo (P1) e os pontos P5 e P6 apresentaram vertentes voltadas para Oeste, fato que contribui para o maior aquecimento da superficie dessas areas, pois recebe mais radiacao solar durante o periodo da tarde. Abstract The hypsometry and relief exposure are important factors in climate study of cities, they contribute to the variations in climate temperature and humidity elements. Therefore, the objective of this work consisted of mapping, using geotechnology, the characteristic of hypsometry and exposure relief the urban area of Ipora-GO. The methodological procedures consisted in the use of geoprocessing software Springer 5.1.2 and ArcGIS 10.1.To generate maps were used SRTM radar images with 90m resolution.The results showed a difference of 55 m altimetric between the highest point (P4) and the lowest point (P1)and that the P5 and P6 points showed relief facing west, a fact that contributes to the greater heating of the surface of these areas, it receives more solar radiation during the afternoon.
