O presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral analisar a estrutura e diversidade floristica de uma area de Floresta Ombrofila Mista atraves de um levantamento floristico e fitossociologico. O estudo foi realizado em uma area do Morro do Bela Vista situada no municipio de Porto Uniao – SC. Os seguintes parâmetros fitossociologicos foram verificados: frequencia absoluta, frequencia relativa, densidade media, densidade total, densidade absoluta, densidade relativa, area basal, dominância absoluta, dominância relativa e valor de importância. Foram ainda calculados o indice de diversidade, indice de especies raras, estrutura horizontal e vertical da comunidade. A area de estudo e composta de 46 especies, 37 generos e 22 familias, possui uma baixa diversidade (H’= 1,49) devido a predominância de certas especies. As familias com maior abundância foram Lauraceae e Sapindaceae, e a familia com maior riqueza de especies foi a Myrtaceae com quatro especies. Em relacao aos dados fitossociologicos Ocotea odorifera foi a especie com maior densidade, frequencia e dominância, sendo considerada a especie com maior valor de importante da area. Em relacao a distribuicao espacial das especies com relacao a estrutura horizontal, foi verificado a ocorrencia da maioria das especies com DAP de ate18,90 cm. Ja com relacao a estrutura vertical foi verificado que a maioria das arvores apresentou altura de ate8,10 m. Foram encontradas 12 especies raras perfazendo um total de 26% das especies coletadas. Abstract This work has as main objective to analyze the structure and floristic diversity of an area of Araucaria Forest through a floristic and phytosociological survey. The study was conducted in an area of Morro Bela Vista in the municipality of Porto Uniao - SC. The following phytosociological parameters were checked: absolute frequency, relative frequency, average density, total density, absolute density, relative density, basal area, absolute dominance, relative dominance and importance value. We also calculated the diversity index, index of species rare, horizontal and vertical structure of the community. The study area consists of 46 species, 37 genera and 22 families, has a low diversity (H ‘= 1.49) due to the predominance of certain species. The most abundant families were Lauraceae and Sapindaceae and family with the highest species richness was Myrtaceae with four species. Ocotea odorifera was the species with the highest density, frequency and dominance, being the species with the most important value of the area. Was verified the occurrence of most species with DAP up to 18.90cm and height up to 8.10 m. Were found 12 rare species in a total of 26 % of the collected species.
