This work aimed to understand how personal and institutional protagonisms can contribute to the resocialization of inmates of the paraense penitentiary system. The study used the zetetic method, using a qualitative approach and the interview data collection technique aimed at the agent directly involved in resocialization actions, whose speech was subjected to the content analysis technique.
