The article the n proposes to examine these concepts, trying to see which features are present in movemen ts like "Occupy Wall Street", among others, as the occupations of Brazilian streets in earch of generic social demands taking spaces from the largest cities to the interior . Th e ultimate goal will be to understand the new social movements and establish commonalities betwee n configurations of contemporary manifestations of social discontent. Data collectio n will be literature and the approach will be based on the deductive method.
