This paper presents an investigation of the relationships established between the classroom and Virtual Learning Space (VLS) when it is introduced in the actions of teaching and learning of chemistry classes involving youth and adults. It was planned a didactic proposal for the articulation between face-to-face and VLS guided by special pedagogy of Paulo Freire and structured in pedagogical moments. From the proposal it was designed a didactic experiment that dealt with electrochemistry, focusing on spontaneous redox reactions of batteries. The evaluation of the didactic experiment was based on content analysis of students’ speach over the proposed pedagogical moments and aimed to identify conceptual advances in the understanding of the students. As a result, it was found that all participants had conceptual advances and construction of knowledge after the didactic experiment.O presente trabalho apresenta uma investigação das relações que se estabelecem entre a sala de aula e o Espaço Virtual de Aprendizagem (EVA) quando este é introduzido nas ações de ensino-aprendizagem de aulas de Química com um público de jovens e adultos. Foi planejada uma proposta didática de articulação entre os ambientes presencial e virtual de aprendizagem orientada pela pedagogia problematizadora de Paulo Freire e estruturada em momentos pedagógicos. A partir da proposta foi delineado um experimento didático que abordou a eletroquímica, com foco nas reações de oxirredução espontâneas de pilhas e baterias. A avaliação do experimento didático foi baseada em análise de conteúdo das falas dos estudantes ao longo dos momentos pedagógicos propostos e teve o objetivo de identificar avanços conceituais na compreensão dos alunos. Como resultado, verificou-se que todos os participantes demonstraram avanços conceituais e construção de conhecimento após o experimento didático. DOI: 10.5935/1984-6835.2015005
