Mode of extensive breeding of sheep flocks in Brazil usually persists under very suboptimal for a proper rational. Usually the animals are raised on pasture, with nutrient deficiency, requiring the use of supplementation in grazing. Thus, this experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance and costs in the production of crossbred lambs Santa Ines x Pantaneiro under different levels of concentrate supplementation-protein (SCP) held on Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu. We used 18 noncastrated male lambs weight (BW) averaging 17.055 kg distributed in the following treatments: PSO% exclusively on pasture; PS1% pastures and SCP receiving 1% of PV;% PS2 pasture and receiving SCP 2% of PV. % Treatment PS2 had the highest results for hot carcass weight, cold carcass weight and yield fridge, showing that supplementation at 2% BW was the best for the animals' performance in relation to the PV and the housing. The lambs can be finished only in pasture, or protein-concentrate supplementation (PS1 and PS2%%), but considering the economic analysis, it is recommended to use the PS2% level of supplementation, which had better economic return.
