The author already showed that, above the Kurile-Kamchatka Trench, the deep sea current seemed to flow southwestward according to the result of dynamical calculation and the equation of transfer, and that there were minimum or maximum content of physical and chemical properties at the depth of 5000-6000 meters. To explain these conditions, the author assumes a flow pattern model in the deep sea which extends from the Izu-Bonin Trench to the Kurile-Kamchatka Trench, taking into considerations the above mentioned facts and the results of deep sea observations operated in the Izu-Bonin and Japanese Trench on board the Ryofu Maru last several years. From the depth of 3000 meters to the upper portion of the Izu-Bonin and Japanese Trench namely about to 7000 meters, the northward current prevails to off Tohoku district, and to this place the southward current prevails on the Kurile-Kamchatka and Japanese Trench at the same depth. In the middle and the lower portions of these three trenches, namely 7000-9000 meters, there exists northward current only. Under several assumptions the eddy diffusion coefficient and the velocity are separable, and the consumption rates of oxygen in the water and at the sea bottom can be estimated from the equation of transfer.
