Este artigo objetiva enfocar a leitura como algo dialetico e dinâmico, capaz de descrever como funciona a interatividade entre o professor, o aluno e o meio. A fundamentacao teorica esta firmada em Luria (1990), Vygotsky (1994) e Richter (2000), que argumentam ser a interacao uma forma de tornar o conhecimento socialmente construido. Da mesma forma, procurar-se-a mostrar como o processo do metodo recepcional de leitura, defendido por Bordini e Aguiar (1988), podera ser praticado em sala de aula, transformando o ato de ler em um produto de investigacao e interacao com o meio social.
