唾液腺の単形性腺腫 (5例) 及び多形性腺腫 (21例) についてケラチンモノクロナール抗体を用いて免疫組織化学的検索を行った。ケラチンはtype I, type IIに分けられ, type IにはK1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8が属し, type IIにはK9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20が含まれる。今回は, モノクロナール抗体K4, 7, 8, 10, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20とKL1, K8.12を使用した。正常唾液腺介在部上皮と基底細胞腺腫の腺管様細胞内側上皮細胞と多形性腺腫の腺管様細胞内側細胞ではK8, 18のケラチンペア所見が見られた。このことから, 従来から言われていた唾液腺腫瘍の介在部細胞由来説が考えられた。
