雑種成犬を用いて肝動脈, 門脈血流量および肝組織血流量をH2クリアランス法吸入式および電解式を用いて測定した. 電解式による肝組織血流量では穿刺同一部位, 連続2回測定で再現性のある値が得られた. また, 吸入式との比較では同一部位では電解式は吸入式に比べ高値を示し, 見かけの拡散量の影響が考慮された. そこで摘出肝で測定した見かけの拡散量は19.036.0ml/min/100gで平均27.2±6.8ml/min/100gを示した. 本法による麻酔下雑種成犬60頭の平均門脈血流量270±171ml/min, 肝動脈血流量121±79ml/minを示し, また, 吸入式肝組織血流量61.9±20.2ml/min/100g, 電解式肝組織血流量では79.7±24.7ml/min/100gを示した.
