サルモネラの増菌と分離が同時にできる半流動寒天培地DIASALMを用いて, 非定型サルモネラを含むサルモネラの簡易迅速検出について検討を行い, 以下に示す成績が得られた.(1) 鶏ミンチ肉を用いた添加回収試験において, 供試した硫化水素非産生S.Enteritidis, リジン陰性S.Chesterを含む非定型サルモネラ8株は, 数個の菌が存在すればDIASALM法で回収することができた.(2) 市販鶏ミンチ肉32検体から, DIASALM法および検出率が高いとされるFSIS法によるサルモネラの検出において, どちらの方法も検出率は53.1% (17/32) で差がなかった.(3) DIASALMは増菌培養液を接種した24時間後に, ラテックス凝集試験を行うことにより, 迅速にサルモネラを確認できる.(4) DIASALMは, 非定型サルモネラを含むサルモネラの迅速判定に優れた培地である.
