Las Corporaciones locales, a partir de 1979 y durante todo el periodo democrático, hanestado sumergidas en diferentes etapas históricas en las que se refleja una maneraparticular de entender y ejercer el gobierno local.En nuestras administraciones locales seimplementan de forma progresiva estructuras comunicativas que funcionan comoverdaderas direcciones de comunicación al asumir laresponsabilidad directa de acometerprocesos de comunicación pública de proximidad en esa interacción necesaria con losciudadanos, derivada de la democratización. En esteartículo se presentan los resultados deinvestigación obtenidos a partir de un análisis dela actuación desarrollada por la estructurapolítico-administrativa centralizada del Ayuntamiento de Elche, como emisora de mensajesinformativos de gestión municipal, durante las legislaturas 1995-1999, 1999-2003 y 2003-2007./Local corporations, beginning in 1979 and throughout the democratic period, have beensubmerged in different historical stages which reflect a particular way of understanding and exercising local government. In our local government is gradually implementingcommunicative structures that function as true directions of communication to take directresponsibility to undertake public communication processes in the proximity necessaryinteraction with the public, derived from democratization.
