In this work, we propose to investigate how harmonic balance method (HBM) can successfully reveal nonlinear dynamics of the periodically-perturbed density wave oscillations (DWOs) leading to frequency entrainments. The HBM has also successfully validated the results of numerical simulation of heat transfer dynamics in oscillating boiling flows. Relatively high amplitude of forcing causes chaotic mixing leading to higher evaporative heat flux and quenching heat flux.We study the characteristic behaviour of the frequency entrainments in boiling channel to determine the regions of their occurrence. We have also analyzed the effect of increasing forcing amplitude on frequency entrainment (resonance) and transition of entrainment regions.
