The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility is still generally understood and explained in narrow political lenses, basically due to the economic and instrumentalist rationality. As such, not much is researched and documented about CRS in what could be alternative practical explanations beyond the taken for granted concepts. Towards closing this seeming gap about the theory-practice nexus about the concept, the Chapter focuses on the idea of University Education as the public good. For the Global South in particular, social justice and equity challenges still call for reimagining what CRS could be in consideration of University Education as the public good. This is the area where a University is not only knowledge constitutive but has to be grounded on ethical learning practices which are responsive and relevant to the context in which the university is located.
