The environmental pollution with antibiotic resistant bacterial has drawn attention due to its great threat to human and animal production industry. As in human beings’ antibiotics are also used in the animals for the purpose of treatment and control of infectious diseases. Livestock and poultry farmers are routinely treating their stocks with the antibiotics for the prevention of infectious diseases (therapeutic use of antibiotic), “many times before the outbreak to save the herd from suspected contagious infection” and are commonly adding various antibiotics in low concentration in the animal’s and poultry feed or in their drinking water as growth promotors (sub-therapeutic use of antibiotics) [6,15,19]. With the event of bacterial population resistant to antibiotics in human and animals raised the question on the continuous use of antibiotics in sub-therapeutic concentrations in the animal and poultry feed, and pointed out that such practices may select the bacterial population of gastrointestinal tract to develop resistance gene in them
