Com o crescimento de novos territorios, surgimento de novas regioes, cidades e novos empreendimentos em busca do mercado promissor, sem o devido planejamento de infraestrutura, irregularidade fundiaria, riscos de inundacoes, escorregamentos de encostas e principalmente degradacao do meio ambiente impossibilitam que a sociedade tenha condicoes de moradia digna, como acesso a educacao, saneamento basico, habitacao, mobilidade urbana, lazer entre outros. O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar os avancos da regularizacao do Estudo de Impacto de vizinhanca (EIV) nos estados brasileiros. Foram trabalhados os dados do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatistica (IBGE), como fonte de pesquisa, com base nos indicadores de algumas cidades brasileiras que aderiram a regulamentacao do estudo de impacto em questao. Os resultados apontam que em 2009 dos 5.565 municipios brasileiros apenas 762 possuiam o EIV regulamentado em legislacao especifica, em valores relativos e isso representa apenas 13,7% do total de cidades do pais. Conclui-se que com a regularizacao do Estudo de Impacto de Vizinhanca, juntamente com o relatorio, Plano Diretor, tem efeito positivo no equilibrio do crescimento urbano, melhorando a capacidade de infraestrutura, na construcao de uma sociedade mais justa.Palavras–chave: Regularizacao, Estudo de Impacto de Vizinhanca (EIV), Municipios, Legislacao, Relatorio.Abstract With the growth of new territories, the emergence of new regions, cities and new ventures in search of promising market, without proper infrastructure planning, land irregularity, flood risk, landslide slopes and especially degradation of the environment impossible that society has decent housing conditions, such as access to education, basic sanitation, housing, urban mobility, leisure and others. This article aims to analyse the progress of the regularisation of the neighbourhood Impact Study (EIV) in Brazilian states. The data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics were worked (IBGE), as a source of research, based on the indicators of some Brazilian cities that joined the regulations impact study in question. The results show that in 2009 the 5,565 Brazilian municipalities had only 762 EIV regulated by specific legislation, in relative values and this represents only 13.7% of the country's cities. It was concluded that with the settlement of the Neighborhood Impact Study, together with the report, Plan, has a positive effect on the balance of urban growth, improving infrastructure capacity in building a more just society.Keywords: Regularization, Neighborhood Impact Study (NIS), Municipalities, Law, Report.
