Este ensaio analisa a producao academica dos intelectuais brasileiros e brasilianistas que, nestas ultimas decadas, desenvolveram estudos sobre as manifestacoes do antissemitismo no Brasil. Tal producao teve inicio na decada de 1970, ainda que de forma esporadica, ganhando impulso apos 1995 com a abertura de varios arquivos: diplomaticos e policiais. Mesmo assim, persistem as polemicas sobre a pratica de uma politica antissemita sustentada pelos governos de Getulio Vargas (1930-1945) e General Eurico Gaspar Dutra (1946-1950), alimentadas pela persistencia de mitos, pelo negacionismo e pelas versoes deturpadas da Historia Oficial. Abstract This essay examines the production of Brazilian intellectual and academic Brazilianists that, in recent decades, involving studies on the manifestations of antisemitism in Brazil. This production began in the 1970s, albeit sporadically, gaining momentum after 1995 with the opening of multiple files, diplomatic and police. Even so, there is still controversy about the practice of a sustained anti-Semitic policy by the governments of Getulio Vargas (1930-1945) and General Eurico Gaspar Dutra (1946-1950), fueled by the persistence of myths, the denial and distorted versions of the Official History.
