非 イオ ン界面活性剤 ミセル水溶液 への炭化 水素の可溶 化 量は温度上 昇 とともに増加 し,油 存在 下の曇 リ点近傍 で その効 果は大きい2)・3)。逆 に非イオ ン界 面活 性剤 油溶 液 への水の可溶化量 は温度降 下 とともに増加 し,水 飽 和 曇 リ点で最大 となる4)。一方非 イオ ン界 面活 性剤 を用い た乳化 系 もまた温度の影響 を受 け,低 温で0/W型 乳化 系 の温度が高い ときにはW/0型 の乳化 を示 し,中 間 に 転 相温度が観 測 され る`)。水 と油 の二相 系に 界面活性剤 を加 え ると,界 面活性剤 の水,油 への分配係数 と溶解状 態 が温度 によって変化す るだけで なく,界 面 に吸着 され た界面活性剤(単分子膜の ワン(湾)曲 傾向 も温度 に よっ て変化す ると考え られ,溶 解状態 とワン曲傾 向の相互 の 関係は重要で ある。本稿で はこの よ うな非イ オン界面活 性剤 の(1)溶 解状態 の温度変化,(2)分 散型 と乳化安定 性 の温度変化,(3)ワ ン曲傾向 の温度変化,と それ らの 相 互 の関係 につい て説明す る。
