医療技術の高度化ならびに少子高齢化が,わが国の医 療財政を逼迫している.そのため,診断群分類別包括評 価制度(以下,DPCと略す)が,平成 15 年度から一部実 施されるなど,医療の標準化および効率化を目指した医 療制度改革が進められている.このような情勢変移のな かにあって,薬剤師による処方の適正化ならびに副作用 の回避も,わが国の医療費を抑制するうえで重要な役割 を果たすと考えられる.すでに,DPCの利用が,副作 用の回避に伴う医療費の節減効果に貢献できることが報 告されている. がん化学療法の場合,その質的向上を目指すうえで, 薬剤師の担う役割は大きく,がん化学療法への薬剤師の 積極的な参画が必須である.また,高額な薬剤の使 用,治療の高度化,頻発する副作用などが,がん化学療 法に係る医療費の増加を招いているのも実状である.し たがって,医療経済学的観点からも,がん化学療法は薬 剤の適正使用を推進するべき領域と考えられる.外来が ん化学療法の場合,処方鑑査時に行った疑義照会の内容 Received May 26, 2008 Accepted August 29, 2008
