Septal hematom, sıklıkla travma ya da cerrahi sonrası görülen, kemik ya da kıkırdak septum ile mukoperiosteum ya da mukoperikondrium arası kan göllenmesi ile karakterize klinik bir durumdur. Septal hematomun spontan gelişmesi çok nadir bir klinik durumdur. Bu yazıda, burnun ön kısmında şişlik ve giderek artan burun tıkanıklığı yakınması ile başvuran ve spontan septal hematom tanısı ile ameliyat edilen 69 yaşında bir kadın hasta sunuldu.
