To the Editor, Cardiac tamponade caused by carcinomatous pericarditisis a complication of advanced malignancy. Management of cardiac tamponade is sometimes difficult, and sudden death if it is not controlled properly (1). Lung cancer is one of the most important causes ofthis oncology emergency (2). We show herein a small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patient with cardiac tamponade, who had a long-term survival.
