Giriş: İnsan sitomegalovirüsü (HCMV) gebelik döneminde intrauterin infeksiyona yol açıp fetüste birtakım anomalilere yol açabilmektedir. Bu nedenle hamileliğin başlangıcından itibaren HCMV serolojik testleri çalışılmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile ülkemizdeki gebeliklerde bakılan HCMV IgG, IgM ve IgG-avidite durumları meta-analiz olarak ortaya konulmuş, ülkemizin seroprevalans durumu diğer ülkeler ile karşılaştırılmıştır.
