Este escrito pretende dar a conocer la rejilla de dispersión de dependencias para la medición de patrones de apoyo social vinculando los conceptos de confianza y capital social. Se trata de una técnica poco conocida en la literatura de habla hispana que arroja datos tanto cualitativos como cuantitativos, idónea para analizar en profundidad los patrones de apoyo en una población determinada. Tras una revisión de la literatura sobre apoyo y capital social y de un resumen del origen y teoría de la técnica de rejilla, exponemos el procedimiento de administración, calificación y análisis de la rejilla de dependencias para el análisis del apoyo social en individuos y grupos, con ayuda de un caso guía. Finalmente, se explican las ventajas y limitaciones del instrumento facilitando su empleo en futuros trabajos.In this paper we introduce the Dispersion of Dependency Grid Procedure (DDG) for the measuring of social support patterns, understood as the intersection of trust and social capital. DDG is a relatively unknown procedure (at least in the Spanish social research tradition) that provides quantitative as well as qualitative data of the social support patterns for a given group or community. We begin with a review of the literature on support and social capital and a summary of the origin and theory of the grid technique, followed by the method of administration, scoring and analysis of the dependency grid using a case study. Finally, we explain the advantages and limitations of this instrument, in order to facilitate its future use
