Este trabajo pretende investigar los cambios en la dinámica de la transmisión de lenguas que se produce en familias procedentes de Pakistán y Marruecos y, en concreto, entre madres e hijas, éstas últimas en edad escolar y escolarizadas, total o parcialmente, en Cataluña. Nos interesa especialmente analizar las concepciones familiares y lingüísticas que tienen estas niñas sobre sus madres y, por lo tanto, las categorizaciones que hacen de sus progenitoras y, también, las auto-categorizaciones de sus madres. Para ello, se analizan los contenidos de conversaciones, en el ámbito escolar y fuera de la escuela entre las jóvenes y entre las jóvenes y sus madres, y se relacionan con los estudios sobre la socialización lingüística, las categorizaciones y la construcción de la identidad. Esta investigación se centra en estas niñas y jóvenes que “dicen hacer de maestras de sus progenitores o hermanos” (Unamuno y Nussbaum, 2006), con el objetivo de descubrir cómo se produce esta transmisión de la lengua y cómo es su competencia plurilingüe.Aquest treball pretén investigar els canvis en la dinàmica de la transmissió de llengües que es produeix en famílies procedents de Pakistan i del Marroc i, en concret, entre mares i filles, aquestes darreres en edat escolar i escolaritzades, total o parcialment, a Catalunya. Ens interessa especialment d’analitzar les concepcions familiars i lingüístiques que tenen aquestes noies de les seves mares i, per tant, les categoritzacions que fan de les seves progenitores i, també, les auto-categoritzacions de les mares. Amb aquest propòsit, s’analitzen els continguts de converses, a l’àmbit escolar i fora de l’escola entre les noies i les noies i les seves mares, i es relacionen amb els estudis sobre la socialització lingüística, les categoritzacions i la construcció de la identitat. Aquesta investigació es centra, doncs, en aquestes nenes i noies que “diuen fer de mestres dels seus progenitors o germans” (Unamuno i Nussbaum, 2006), amb l’objectiu de descobrir com es produeix aquesta transmissió de llengua i com és la seva competència plurilingüe.The objective of this article is to investigate the dynamics of language transmission in families from Pakistan and Morocco, especially between mothers and their daughters who have been educated, totally or partially, in Catalonia. Its focus is to analyze the daughters’ ideas about their families and languages, and therefore, how they categorize their mothers and how their mothers categorize themselves. The contents of the conversations carried out at the school as well as outside, between girls and between girls and their mothers, will be analyzed. The results will be related to previous studies about language socialization, categorization and construction of identity. This research concentrates on these children who “say they are the teachers of their parents or brothers and sisters” (Unamuno & Nussbaum, 2006), with the objective of determining how this language transmission is produced and profile the plurilingual competence of these children
