En la sociedad de África negra persiste la cultura tradicional, que choca con la de la sociedad industrializada traída por la educación colonialista. En su primera infancia el niño recibe de su madre las raíces culturales antiguas, consistentes en educar al niño con indulgencias y hacerle sentir igual que los demás. La educación occidental exige del niño un rendimiento y el ser primero que los demás. El niño africano se halla sujeto a esta contradicción.La culture traditionnelle est toujours présente dans la société de lÁfrique noire, et elle se heurte a celle de la société industrialisée apportée par l'éducation colonialaiste. Dans sa toute premikre enfance, l'enfant reçoit de sa mère les racines culturelles anciennes, qui consistent à élever l'enfant avec indulgence et lui donner un sentiment d'égalité par rapport aux autres. L'éducation occidentale exige de l'enfant un rendement et d'être le premier.
