The author analyzes the current legal treatment of sexual abuse of animals in the legal systems of other countries. She also explains which use does the existing Criminal Code give to the term "sexual exploitation" referring to humans, and, finally, she assess the appropriateness of the solution given by the Spanish legislature to the problem of using animals as sexual objects , through the recent amendment introduced by the LO 1/2015, of 30th of March.
