La mayoria de estudios sobre barebacking coinciden en definirlo como una practica intencionada de sexo anal sin proteccion en 'hombres que tienen sexo con otros hombres' (HSH), lo que entra en contradiccion con la multiplicidad de significados que adquiere este termino para algunas de las personas que lo utilizan en primera persona. En este trabajo ofrecemos una mirada situada sobre la manera en que se configuran los significados del termino bareback en narrativas de personas que lo practican. Esto nos permite desplazar las responsabilidades individuales de la practica establecidas desde los principios que guian las politicas de salud sexual, a responsabilidades sociopoliticas de una actitud que solo tiene sentido en el actual contexto de biopolitica de la salud sexual.Most of the studies agree barebacking can be defined as an intentional practice of unprotected anal sex in 'men who have sex with other men' (MSM), despite the multiplicity of meanings that this term takes to some of the people who use it first hand. In this paper we look located on the way the meanings of the term bareback shapes in narratives of people who practice it. This allows us to move from the individual responsibilities of a practice established since the guiding principles of sexual health policies to the socio-political responsibilities of an attitude that only makes sense in the current context of biopolitics of sexual health
