In this paper I analyze the case of cerebral self-help literature and describe how the organization of neuroscientific definitions about the brain is combined within a grammar of personal wellbeing Based on a corpus of publication of cerebral self-help, I describe the ways in which a brain narrative of behaviour and emotions is created and how is articulated with a proposal for personal growth. The analysis illuminates how the popularization of neuroscientific discourse provides with narrative resources to deal with and give meaning to life experiences.En este artículo utilizo el caso de la bibliografía de “autoayuda cerebral” para analizar la organización y combinación de las definiciones neurocientíficas sobre el cerebro en torno a una gramática del bienestar personal. A partir del análisis de un corpus de publicaciones de autoayuda cerebral, describo los modos en que se construye una narrativa cerebralista de la conducta y de las emociones y cómo ésta se articula con una propuesta de cambio personal. El análisis ilumina cómo la vulgarización del discurso neurocientífico provée recursos narrativos para lidiar y dotar de sentido a las experiencias vitales
