En este artículo abordamos los déficits detectados en la implementación de la transversalidad de género en las organizaciones, situándonos en los constructos de cultura y clima de género. Ello nos permite definir el concepto de Competencias de igualdad de género y llevar a cabo una clasificación de las mismas. Para caracterizar este término nos hemos basado en la teoría sociocultural, deteniéndonos en las contribuciones que plantea el enfoque del Doing Gender. Estas competencias son capacidades que pueden poseer las y los miembros de una organización y que influyen en la cultura organizacional. Además, son necesarias para la implementación del Mainstreaming de género. Por último, proponemos líneas de intervención en las organizaciones orientadas al logro de la equidad entre mujeres y hombres.In this article we talk about the deficiencies identified in the implementation of gender Mainstreaming in organizations supporting the constructs of gender culture and climate. It allows us to define the concept of gender equality competence and develop a classification of them. We have relied on theory sociocultural contributions and the Doing Gender perspective to characterize this term. These competencies are capacities that can have the members of an organization that influence the organizational culture. Also, we think these competences are essential to the professional performance of the implementation of gender Mainstreaming. Finally, we propose intervention lines in order to achieve equality between women and men in organization
